1 .Senior Citizens
- One (1) adult may accompany an applicant who is a senior citizen. Senior citizen applicants’ immediate family members or traveling companions may also use the Courtesy Lane privileges.
- Proof of relationship to the senior citizen applicant must be provided by an immediate family member (spouse, adult children, or adult sibling only).
- As part of the senior citizen’s travel planning, a traveling companion has to provide proof that the senior citizen is going on vacation (e.g., confirmation of a flight or hotel booking) and explain why they are travelling (e.g., the travelling companion is a medical aide or nurse).
2 .Disabled Persons (PWDs)
- There must be a valid PWD Identification Card on hand when applying for a PWD.
- In addition to the applicant, one (1) adult may accompany the applicant. PWD applicants’ immediate family members or traveling companions are also eligible for Courtesy Lane privileges.
- It is required that an immediate relative of the applicant (e.g., parent, spouse, adult children, or sibling) demonstrates their relationship with him or her (e.g., birth certificate).
- There must also be some documentation proving the travel companion accompanied the PWD applicant (e.g., a confirmed hotel or flight booking), and they must state the reason for their travel (e.g., they are a medical escort or nurse).
Pregnant Applicants
- Medical records/certificates must be provided by pregnant applicants.
Children under the age of seven (7)
- Parents, legal guardians, or authorized representatives of minor applicants must accompany them. It is also possible for an adult companion to apply.
Parenting Alone
- A Solo Parent Identification Card must be presented by all applicants who are solo parents.
Filipinos Working Overseas (OFWs)
The following proofs must be presented by OFW applicants:
- E-card from OWWA must be valid;
- Contract of employment valid;
- Visa valid for work;
- In the last three hundred sixty-four (364 days) after the application date, the Seafarer’s Identification and Record Book (SIRB) must be stamped at an international border;
- A Philippine passport with at least three hundred sixty-four (364) days of immigration arrival stamp must accompany an expired or cancelled working visa or employment contract.

If a written request for Courtesy Lane privileges is approved by any of the following Department officials in exceptional or emergency cases, Courtesy Lane privileges can be extended to the applicant:
- Foreign Affairs Secretary;

IMPORTANT NOTE
- During regular hours, Monday through Friday, seniors and persons with disabilities can choose regular processing or expedited processing of their passport applications
- In addition to applicants with companions, expedited processing must be paid for by all others.
- As long as the CO is operating at full capacity and the public is safe and convenient, the CO has the authority to set their own daily maximum number of applicants.
- Exceptional or emergency circumstances may restrict access to the Courtesy Lane.
